Have a look at some of the activities and skills we get up to at Playball. It's all structured skills and games but the kids have so much fun they don't even realise that they are learning something!
2 Can Do is a Mums & Tots Together activity where Mom is required to stay and participate with her little one. They are normally quite star struck in the beginning but soon get into the Playball Groove. It's amazing to see the little ones develop and take to the Sporty Routine.
What 2 Can Do Mums say:
"Dylan had great fun pretending and moving like a monkey, a flamingo and a frog, all in one lesson and loves showing the coach what he can do. He is now comfortable following instructions, waiting his turn and cheering on the other children in the class." Jodie & Dylan (3)
'Playball has been the happiest event of my 2 and 9 month old son Fareed. He keeps singing Playball, Playball and proudly shows off the stamps on his hands to everyone on Sundays." Anita & Fareed (33 months)
Watch me @ 3 Playballers are more independent but it usually takes at least a couple of weeks during the first term for them to be totally comfortable doing it 'alone'. Mum will have to stick around for a while before she can sneak out for that well deserved coffee break.
What Watch me @ 3 Mums say:
"Tim started Playball last October and enjoyed every minute of it. He thinks once a week is not enough for him and wants to go every single day. He can't wait to start again in September." Carla & Tim (4)
Dinkies like it when Mom drops them off but comes back 5 minutes before the end of the lesson to see them in action.
Preps are super good. They are independent, listen well and like to show off their stuff. They particularly like the suspense of the games at the end...
What Preps Mums say:
"Aiden has had a great time at Playball over the last year, gaining loads more skills and coordination than when he started, as well as confidence and independence. But most of all he had fun. He is always keen to go to Playball...no encouragement required, which makes it heaps easier for me to make sure he gets exercise and new skills. Now his little brother wants to go too!" Robyn & Aiden (6)
